In the Hi-Tech eon, an agriculture program is much more than merely crop production or livestock farming, or allied activities. Farmers need to assume the environmental impact of climate change and this is where modern technologies come to the rescue.
Agriculture has acquired industrial status and agricultural science is in demand of qualified professionals because this is a highly emerging field in the world scenario.
The changes in international policies of trade and increasing open market competition have made it mandatory to adopt the technology as well as management principles in Agro-based industries.
India has a large asset of natural resources and manpower, but still, we are not able to harvest these resources to their highest level.
We believe that India’s vast landscape of cultivation would liberate its potential to grow and export agricultural produce. There is no doubt that technology is powering India’s farming future, and to power this technology, the agricultural sector needs skilled professionals with the know-how of such future-ready technologies and imparting the same in reshaping the habitual agricultural sector.
With this novel vision, at Krishnanagar city of Nadia district, Susrijo Institute of Agricultural Science Technology and Management” (SIASTM), offering professional courses in Agriculture.
These courses are a two-year full-time programme in agriculture, affiliated to the University of Kalyani. Each programme prepares students for managerial and entrepreneurial careers in enterprises serving or makes them passionate about agriculture and allied sectors.
“Susrijo Institute of Agricultural Science Technology and Management” (SIASTM) was established in January 2020 by “Susrijo Charitable Trust” to empower youth through education and entrepreneurship, and to blaze knowledge on modern farming practices and technologies among them.

Susrijo Charitable Trust is duly registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 (2 of 1882) & Income Tax Act, 1961. Susrijo Charitable Trust is registered under Govt. of West Bengal. It has also received grant exemption u/s 80G(5) (VI) of Income Tax Act 1961 and registration u/s 12AA of I.T. Act 1961. The trust is well recognized in the scholastic world for its progressive approach and commitment to excellence. Centralized policies, decentralized administration, well-designed institutional programmes, and flexible management systems are the basis of its unique identity.

We imparting quality technical education and has transformed into the center of excellence over the period and successfully running courses on Paramedical, Education, Healthcare & Hospital Management, Nursing, and other career-oriented vocational courses.
SIASTM is a perfect place for education with a state of art academic infrastructure spread over 6 acres of pollution-free lush green campus which is well connected by road and rail. Every bit of the vacant space is covered with lawns, flower plants and gardens.

The centralized air-conditioned college is equipped with all modern technologies and facilities like well-established laboratories, excellent field facilities for conducting practical, computer lab, internet, library, hostel, gymnasium, canteen, and mess, etc.
A team of devoted faculty having a M.Sc. (Ag) and Ph.D degree in the various subject is consolidating their efforts for imparting quality education to the students. Student counseling is given utmost priority to build up the overall personality and development of students through the process of Skill Development, Knowledge Development, and Youth Development.
A fully Wi-Fi enabled campus is now vibrant with more than 300 students trying to attain excellence in technical skill and inculcate human and social values making them true professional ready to face the global challenges.
All students will be provided with uniform dresses including a blazer and tie. They are not allowed to enter the campus of the institute without uniform dresses.
