I welcome you on behalf of the Susrijo Institute of Agricultural Science, Technology, and management for choosing the right place to study.
India is known for Agriculture. In this agrarian country, about 65 to 70% of our population, directly and indirectly, depends on agriculture. Increase agricultural productivity is our prime responsibility and this is achievable only when we give the modern agriculture knowledge in the field of crop production, Plant Tissue Culture, Food Technology, Organic farming, Soil Chemistry, and Water Conservation systems, etc. to the young generation admitted for taking education.
With these objectives, our college started Agricultural Courses under the SUSRIJO Charitable Trust, recognized by Govt. of West Bengal and affiliated to The University of Kalyani (UGC recognized State Govt. University).
These Courses are,
These courses are divided into modules and each module covers the different fields of agricultural science. To enhance the functional and industrial knowledge, every student has to attain 4-6 weeks of internship training with reputed organizations or corporate firms at the end of courses.
The college is located at Krishnanagar within Municipality area, campus having well-connected roads with beautiful greenery, well-ventilated laboratories, seminar hall, and classrooms with qualified experience faculty team from premier institutes like Agricultural University, Research Institute and Government officials.
Separate hostel facilities for both girls as well as boys. Other facilities include, well equipped digital library, sports facilities of indoor and outdoor games on campus are available. The campus is well secured with the security guard and CCTV’s.
The Institute strives to equip its students with good knowledge and communication skills, making them job-ready with the potential to evolve into job providers and be ambassadors of the College.
